How to get to The Raptor Foundation

From the A14 (East of St. Ives)

  • Leave the A14 at Junction 26 and follow signs for A1096 St Ives.
  • At the next 2 roundabouts, take the 2nd exit, continuing straight ahead. (The first has a petrol station on the left and a car showroom on the right as you approach, the second is the far side of the causeway over the River Great Ouse and has a turning to the town centre).
  • At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit, signposted A1096 All Routes.
  • At the next roundabout, with the Silvaco building opposite, take the 1st exit, the A1123 St Ives and Huntingdon, then at the following roundabout, with a pub on the left and a petrol station opposite, take the 2nd exit, turning right onto the B1040 signposted Ramsey.
  • At the mini-roundabout, take the 2nd exit, continuing on the B1040 to Ramsey and Somersham.
  • The Raptor foundation is on the left as you come down the hill after the Bluntisham crossroads.

From A14 West of St. Ives / A1 South of A14

  • From the A14, go straight across the roundabout at the junction with the A1 (Brampton Hut)
From the A1 South of A14, exit at the Brampton Hut roundabout, turning right
  • Carry on to the nest roundabout and take the second exit, to Huntingdon and continue following the A141 signposted March.
  • After the Tesco roundabout, go down a hill to a roundabout with a petrol station on the left. At this roundabout, take the first exit, turning left to follow the A141 to March.
  • Cross a small roundabout, and drive alongside Wyton airfield on your right hand side. Shortly after the end of the airfield, look for a right-hand turn to Woodhurst (there is a brown sign).
  • Carry straight on this road through Woodhurst village.
