These days are open to everyone from beginners to experienced photographers. It is a hands on day (with your camera, not the birds of course) where you can get up close and personal with the birds in our portrait session. The birds are set in various locations where you can photograph them from all different angles. If you want to take any unusual or specific shots we will do our best to accommodate you.

Having spent time photographing the birds sitting still, we then move onto the more challenging task of photographing them in flight. We will fly a selection of birds including owls, hawks, eagles and falcons, this will give you a wide range of flying techniques, starting with the slowest and finishing with the fastest.

We keep the groups fairly small and by doing this hope you share your knowledge and techniques between yourselves. This way everyone leaves having learnt something new and hopefully with some fantastic shots of the birds. These days are run by the centre and run from 10.30am until 4pm and cost £45, including lunch. First day booked for 16th March.

Dates organised for the year with the professional photographer are;

Full Days (10.30am-4.30pm)
Monday 21st May, Monday 20th August and Monday 22nd October.
These are at a cost of £85 per person and include lunch.

Half Days (10.30am - 2pm)
Tuesday 22nd May, Tuesday 21st August and Tuesday 23rd October.
These are at a cost of £55 per person, and don't include lunch.
