10th Birthday Weekend

Over the weekend of 12^th & 13^th August 2006, the Raptor Foundation celebrated its 10^th anniversary at the Woodhurst site. Despite the weather, the weekend was well attended on both days.

The Mayor of Huntingdon attended the event, and not only addressed the audience on the 12 O'clock flying display, he also took part in the display.

There were a variety of stalls and entertainment for young and old.

On Sunday afternoon between flying displays we also had a viking re-enactment presented by Dalriada,

who were also to be seen at various places around the centre. (Nobody was brave enough to ask if it was an authentic Viking mobile that was being used !).
