The Raptor Foundation 20th Anniversary Weekend

Over the weekend of 13^th & 14^th June 2009, the Raptor Foundation celebrated the 20^th Anniversary of the founding of the charity by holding its first mini Falconry Fair.

With excellent weather for the entire weekend, we had record breaking attendences on both days.

In addition to our usual flying displays, there were dog agility displays by ND's K9 Academy.

There was also ferret racing with thanks to the Northampton Falconry Club.

There were also a variety of falconry related stalls around the centre.

In addition to the stall of falconry equipment, Ben Long demonstrated flying falcons to a kite on the Saturday, unfortunately on the Sunday the wind-direction changed so Ben was limited to flying the falcons to the lure.

There were also talks by the BTO about bird ringing & a local artist & jewelry maker also had stalls over the weekend.
